Our Journey
Humble Beginnings: How It Began
L-R: Matt Runnalls, Victoria Devine, Carly Anna, Thao Tran, James Hatchman and Luke Karabatsos at the Ditox Dinner Melbourne.
At Ditox, our journey began in September 2018 with a vision to transform the way we engage with technology and promote mental wellbeing.
From the very start, we set out to make digital healthier and more positive for everyone. To scroll less and live more.
One of our highlights was the Ditox Dinner in Melbourne, where we brought together mental health advocates, speakers, and exclusive guests for an unforgettable evening. We were proud to support the men’s mental health charity, Mindfull Aus, led by the inspiring Matt Runnells. The event featured speakers like Victoria Devine and Phoebe Kuhn, sparking meaningful conversations about mental health and digital wellbeing.
Local & International Event Series
Event attendees participating in a wellbeing activity at the Ditox/Pink Full Moon event held in New York City.
In 2019, we expanded our reach with a series of wellness events across Melbourne. From qi gong sessions in the park to vibrant bar nights, we fostered a culture of connection and wellbeing in our city. Our mission took a bold leap across the ocean as Ditox launched in New York with the unforgettable ‘Pink Full Moon Party’ in Lower Manhattan, celebrating community and empowerment.
Then, in early 2020, the world faced an unprecedented challenge with COVID-19. Like many, we had to pause our activities for a few years. However, we took this time to reflect and refine our mission, preparing to return stronger than ever.
